STRUCTURED LITERACY AND DYSLEXIA THERAPY
Explicit, systematic, cumulative instruction for students with dyslexia or significant word-level reading and spelling needs. Instruction may address phonological awareness, sound-symbol relationships, decoding, syllable patterns, morphology, spelling, fluency, and connected-text reading.
READING INTERVENTION
Individualized support for students experiencing difficulty with decoding, word recognition, reading accuracy, fluency, vocabulary, or comprehension. Lessons are matched to identified skill needs rather than grade-level assignments alone.
WRITING AND HANDWRITING SUPPORT
Targeted instruction in spelling, handwriting, sentence construction, organization, grammar, and written expression. Support may include manuscript or cursive formation when appropriate.
INTEGRATED READING AND WRITING SUPPORT
Combined literacy instruction for students whose needs cross reading, spelling, handwriting, and written expression. This option provides a coordinated plan rather than treating each area as a separate program.

When concerns are broad, complex, or have not yet been formally evaluated, Praxis offers private educational evaluations to clarify a student’s learning profile and guide appropriate next steps.
Praxis literacy services are designed for students who need targeted instruction beyond general tutoring. Lessons are selected according to each student’s current skill needs and may address reading, spelling, fluency, handwriting, and written language. Instruction is overseen by a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist, Certified Academic Language Therapist, and Texas-certified Educational Diagnostician.

Families receive a recommended service, session length, frequency, and instructional focus based on the student’s needs and current availability.

Session length and frequency are recommended according to the student’s instructional needs, age, stamina, and current availability. Consistent recurring sessions are encouraged to support meaningful progress.
